I would give Young Thug props for that verse if he could do a "Child's Play", or "Impossible"....but he can't. So it's a moot point.

And for the record I don't like those rambling ass Ghost verses like this, where he's spitting gibberish. But he gets a pass for them because he has a ton of songs that make perfect sense. People act like his whole discography is like "Nutmeg".

Completely disagree.

I do believe though that ODB was one of the corniest rappers in history next to Wyclef and Vanilla Ice and Eminem. For the life of me I do't understand how ODB was praised so much.

if someone like that came out today we would call him wack. We know each group always has that one wack member...i wish dudes would just own up to that one person when it came to wu tang.

The first ODB album is fire. Again if come from a grimy ghetto buying Chinese takeout through bulletproof glass youll understand. If not then go to listening to Master P or other bama rap.:camby:

Philly. Lived in Harlem for a while now Im in FL.
thats whats up
my first apartment was on Adam Clayton Powell
i can "kind of" understand how someone can think the Wu was corny but only once white folks really started embracing them like that
cause i had partners who was like, "na this shyt aint for us no more" but they was still kickin that 5%er knowledge in their raps
to each his own i suppose
thats the greatest rap group ever imo
cause they let the world know that the black man is IN FACT GOD and kept it moving on

I was never a big fan of them...Im 33 btw

After 98 people lost interest in grimey sounding NY hip hop. I all became about Manny Fresh and Swizz beats. In otherwords your missed the boat.

He'll no wutang is nothing like odd future. Don't let the kung-fu gimmick fool you

With at said method and rea and ghost are the only ones from the group that I listen to. I inspectah deck is cool. I respect rza as a producer but I just could never jive with the other cats

It wasnt a gimmick. Kung fu flicks weren big in east coast ghettos. They use to show them at the theaters in Times squares back when times square was full of hookers dealers and pimps.

No Father To MY Style.. A Son Unique
Says a lot about someone to start not liking wutang because white people started to like them during their most pro black era (wuforever).

Anyone on that tip is corny and has issues with themselves. Pro black fans letting white people ruin hip hop for them?changing what you want cause white people enjoy it too? Insecure much? Sounds like a Tom to me

Pittsburgh aint Philly. Pittsburgh is almost a midwest city. Philly is undoubtedly east coast.

Hip hop is regional and generational. Outside Scarface and Outkast I refused to take Southern rap seriously.
