I feel the thread starter on this thread title. I'm doing stuff now, but I'm very much an introvert (yet I can be very extroverted at times.. kinda weird). I just hate going out of my comfort zone. Sometimes I feel like the stuff that drives most people doesn't drive me (money... success..status.. etc)

My mom is afraid to fly, one of the reasons I left Brazil is cause most of my fam wouldn't come visit me. I had cousins and brothers come, but outside of that I wouldn't see my parents or other family. It sucks because I had a really strong relationship with a chick down there, only other female I can say I loved and would have spent my life with / had kids with.

What I really would like though is actually living in another country for an extended time. Just got to make that jump and stop procrastinating

Also, you have experience living abroad, that thirst to travel never goes away. If you don't do it, it's just going to eat away at you over time. Like me I haven't been anywhere in years, will be going to Costa Rica in December with my girl and it feels like such a huge weight being lifted off my shoulders. If I didn't have a family, I'd be out of the country right now waking up @ 12pm and strolling down to the beach with my headphones on

Another tip, you can live a fairly nice lifestyle in the Philippines with around $5000 for the entire year, that includes nights out, a middle class 2 bedroom apartment and most expenses
