Role was not a demanding role in the least bit.

But i’m glad he’s getting paid.

I’ll give him Pursuit of Happyness even though it was the writing mostly that made that film but most demanding roles where he can’t just be Will Smith in a zombie apocalypse or Will Smith in Space, or Will Smith vs The CIA, it’s gonna be a chore. Best he will do is not take away from a film. Roles like Seven Pounds though, where the story is character driven?
Imma need him to let those go. King Richard could’ve been a much better performance if he wasn’t trying to pattern his mannerisms so much and ditched his trash accent. He didn’t need that for the film to be what it needed to be. Took me most the movie to not let that irk me.

The book is great
Especially the ending

I read the book and it def would’ve been a better movie if they went with the book. Movie was basically just the first couple of chapters that were world building and then fukked themselves off with their own shyt. I didn’t know it was a short story when I got it so i was thinking there’s more to the ending. I kept reading and got a couple pages into the next story before I was “ man wtf this got to do with anything?”

Movie was fire. Seeing the lion roaming around during the intro was cool. When Sam (later we find out is Samantha ) runs into the building had me real tense.

Much preferred the alternate ending though. Should have stuck with that.

I'm still aiming to get in Will Smith I Am Legend era shape. Dude was an absolute unit.

Tim Clancy movie was decent. Saw it a few weeks ago.
