my bad bro i didnt click the link but a few people have been shytting on rap for a while and its not about race because black music is so rich pretty much created all kinda styles and they are way more forms of musical expression that these new young black artist can create. rap is hella stale :yeshrug:
This convo is had here everyday. It's not stale at all. There are new artists popping up all over the place. At least say that the mainstream is stale.

They've been waiting for rap to die since the 70's lmao

15 years ago one of my teacher's said it's just party music and will fade out

rap is the longest lasting genre in the history of music, no other form as survived this long and continued to evolve while sticking to it's core elements of what constitutes it has a genre of music

rock been dead, he didn't even bother to mention country not even white people like that shyt besides the dixie loving fakkits

EDM ain't shyt but some cacs seen a nikka load up some snare rolls and was oh I can do this on my generic ass dance revolution beats

lmao at lady gaga, that bytch faded the black the moment Akon sold her off like a pack of cigs in the joint

kiss literally has zero classics, you can't find there music played anywhere not even commercials

The nerve of the lead of the arguably worst band in the world to shyt on hip-hop when some the rockers that mean something and are considered the best ever fukk with it (ex. Thom York, Paul McCartney etc.) not to mention the sub genre of rock-rap. These racists hated Disco, Funk and R&B also ... now he shyts on hip-hop. He says that he doesn't have the "cultual background to be a ganster:mjpls:"; which is something, I'm sure, David Duke would say only in private. This idiot doesn't realize that hip-hop (not rap you disrespectful b*stard) is alive and well and has influenced EDM (which he would also hate if it had a black face). Plus he has the nerve to say that there aren't new bands??? WTF!? Which imples that he hates Indie and Alt Rock. You have to stand up to people like this .... you have to let them know that their time is up and even on their best days their musical taste is awful.

He did say not all of it....was like that.

I'm surprised he knows who Ciara is....Why the stray shot at Madonna again ?

Gene Simmons always contradicts himself...this is the same fool that said hip hop are the new rock stars so its just old man envy

Which is funny because Kiss are basically the Chingys of rock music.

Funny how Keith Richards was sh!tting on rap but his band was on the biggest wiggers of all Tim.

Rap in its form today? Not just counting people rhyming and poetry? As in the popular music pressed in records etc etc?

Nah man

If we start at counting recorded music only, Rock N Roll was around from 50s til about 2000 where it took a plunge and started losing relevancy yearly

Hip Hop as we know it been around since the late 70s, making it just shy of 40 years old.

the title is clickbait-y but I can see where he's coming from

a lot of older musicians probably feel this way and I can imagine Prince would agree with damn near every word.

rappers in the rock & roll hall of fame is goofy. Let rap have its own thing
