On a personal level, labels are worthless somewhere around the age 40 I would assume. I am who I am based on life experiences, personal family history, and how I deal with life. Growing up and working on self, I realized I have more similarities with people than differences.
I don't identify with all lifestyles or cultures , but based on how society is and the history of many western worlds, I am proud to be part of certain groups. Pride is a good thing. And there's some groups I'm allowed to talk about, and others I am not. Many races/cultures/sexes need more help however, and we should all be helping, so labels are still important in general. This is only the surface ..
