Since we got a lot of "not voting" posts, just balancing out.

Remember that outside the Presidential race, you got: Senate, House, statewide and local races along with any random local bond packages, taxes etc.

Those local and state races impact your life directly. Even if you don't care about Trump and Kamala, you should care about everything downballot. Of course the winner of the Presidential race gets to appoint federal judges and nominates SC justices. We've seen what happens when a Nazi gets to stack the court. You're not getting Reparations from either side, because only Black people want Reparations.

Dying on that hill and not caring about politics isn't some radical choice. It's 40 years of GOP "think-tank" work to get you to the point of apathy. Don't ever believe that decision was yours to make. You got programmed into not caring.

Voting as well. There's an irony that when politicians pass helpful laws, the public never hears about it, then when they reach out to influencers and create memes, the public says they're pandering.

It's hard to find ways to reach a population that is indifferent about policy and how it affects their lives

I'm voting too but the local elections including propositions are probably more important.

I understand general voter apathy though.
