Lebron doesn't use his passing, playmaking, court vision, situational awareness, and basketball IQ to create points out of the post? He doesn't have a variety of fadeaways and learners he uses to score out of the post now?
Why is passing not looked at as a skill on this board? Why is Lebron's elite decision making, out of the pick and roll, not basketball skill? We see skilled and talented ballhandlers not able to use the PNR to create havoc but people seem to only think that basketball skill is how many moves/counters you can use in isolation situations (Something Lebron is still elite at because he's typically unstoppable because every players has to respect his drive).
It's so strange to me how some people on the Coli have such a narrow view on what constitutes basketball skill. Every basketball mind on the planet compliments Lebron's basketball IQ, decision making, vision, and yet this doesn't count as a basketball skill.
We see ungodly athletic players in the NBA, all the time, and we see them struggle to do things that Lebron makes seem almost ordinary. His finishes, passing, decision making, shooting, ball-handling, and skill at his size is unheard of.
