i have to say im very disappointed in microsoft. i love my 360.
i grabbed the master chief collection bundle yesterday.
my first beef with this is the GUI is so sluggish compared to the 360. then on top of that i start install the halo bundle, come to find out its like 80 GB download. i thought this would come preloaded or something.
this shyt took all damn night.
i then downloaded the media player to test my files on my external HD. these fools actually removed the resume feature, so that if you turn something off, you have to start the file over when you watch it again. also it doesnt display whats going on on screen when you fast forward or rewind.
and then it doesnt output to 1080i. why wouldnt you at least give people the option and them decice what display they prefer ?
i was willing to look passed the fact that it is not as powerful as the ps4, but damn, if you cant match it graphically at least have all the other stuff right. i realize some of the problems may be addressed when it gets the windows 10 upgrade, but i just did not want to wait that long. fallout will be here in 3 weeks, i need to get myself acclimated to a system NOW.
i returned the xbox and exchanged it for the uncharted PS4 bundle, and i am very happy with my purchase thus far. the setup was smooth, and the uncharted bundle installed in about 1/10 of the time. i got the media player and it even has a favorites and recently watched feature on it.
damn im disappointed, but im glad i got to compare them so now i KNOW i made the right decision.
