I bought my own truck

Used. About 30k for the one with Cummins motor. And about 25k for the one with the Detroit Diesel engine.

My trucks were former Walmart Fleet trucks.

What drew you to the industry without obtaining your own CDL? Are you solo or are you partnering with anyone?

How tough would it be to manage your own trucks while having a full time career on the side?

That's what I'm talking about. I left swift academy for another job. Supervisor position at a warehouse.

I should have stayed... I'd probably own a truck by now as well because I hustle hard.

let’s say I buy two trucks and hire some employees. Do I have to have a CDL and know how to drive them myself?

it would help but no you personally don't need a cdl if you aren't going to be doing any driving.
