I'm in the main ADOS facebook group and in several regional facebook groups. I've never seen that woman post in the FB group. I'm not on twitter so if she was on there I didn't see.

I don't agree with folks attacking her if her spouse is white. We are trying to raise the level of conversation and leave personal attacks behind. If she has an issue with ADOS founders and their vision for the movement, fine but don't discredit the need of better black politics and policies for ADOS to undo the damage of systematic racism.

black love, unity, and music
bro i think the issue you have hear is that you're one of these non black american's who came over here, started shucking and jiving when the black american kids made fun of you, but when you got to college and the white kids started making fun of you, you saw Malcolm x, and now think you're a pan africanists. L's all of life.

still waiting on y'all to accomplish something.

And like a typical ADOS perspective, you completely missed the mark you moron.

I've lived in the hood my whole life. Mom finally graduated nursing school when i was 16, when i moved out. Went to an HBCU. Move with nothing but black americans, nigerians, and other africans. Im respected amongst all.

I fukk with the great Malcolm X because unlike your dumb ass, he was a Pan Africanist. He, unlike you, realized that African people all over need to build with Africa in order for the black man to have a chance at success and independence in the world. He and I, unlike you, don't believe in begging white people for crumbs in order to advance ourselves. I encourage you to listen to his speeches and educate yourself, instead of aligning yourself with mypoic, tribalistic, organizations.

And before you go an another anti-african rant, remember that african immigrants make up a SIGNIFICANT portion of the black healthcare force, which includes doctors, nurses, pharmacists, etc. Be thankful as these people may very well save your life in this ongoing pandemic.

Good luck.

Did shawty not once say “African descendants of slavery” out loud? Did the irony not slap her as she looked at husband eating toast one morning?

Join groups grown ass brehs
ados is not even really a group, at this point its just idenffying with what you are as a black American or American of African slaves. nikkas can keep pandering and kissing ass all they want to other groups that they want to be accepted in. But its what they are.

There are ADOS people who don't even mess with Yvette and tone but identify with being one.

There's a clear anti-intellectual, Trump like stupidity to much of the ADOS discussion and those who peddle it most. The first thing that struck me was how little reading or knowledge was on display...they really don't understand this shyt, and instead spout catch phrases ("cut the check") like white racists chanting build that wall. You probe a bit and realize they don't even know most discussions and understandings of reparations have nothing to do with cutting a check. You read back on the reparation ideas from reconstruction, or the later ideas from the 60s and later...it's almost entirely about targeted economic relief for black communities. Massive infrastructure projects, housing, and black business support/stimulus. When I listen to the ADOS talk from most of the loudest advocates I really get the impression they don't know that...and they haven't read any of Coates' writings on this either.
:yeshrug:
1. Check out Yvette's book club videos. Some really good books discussed.
2. That "cut the check" line is Jason Black/TBA's mantra.
3. Its like you're operating on a confirmation bias. Regarding allocation of resources and business, they've talked about that stuff ad nauseam. Maybe not so neatly packed and tied together and finished with a pretty bow but its been hit many times.
4. I don't care anymore, yall just want to argue for the sake of it. And I'm all out of fukks to give.

i willing to listen until i saw her husband was white. Don't listen to opinions of part time black folks.
She's stupid but its not because of her ir marriage, shes just a stupid desperate troll conjuring and grasping for anything to slander ados. inclluding using her marriage as a Boy who cried wolf ploy of being attacking her when alot of people in ados do not care.
