never heard it called a dot

it's true periods can synch, but i've never had this happen with a friend. if that was really the case wouldn't co-workers periods synch up spending a third or more of the week together?

i always figured if u lived with a female roommate it'd synch up.

But how? How can you be around people that you didn't know and then you bleed at the same time?:stopitslime: What is the purpose?

it has happened to me in the past. it is quite annoying. i read it has something to do with increasing chances of getting pregnant by releasing eggs around the same time as competition

Its weird but true... Im usually the person that makes everybody else start theirs lol

If I ever mention Im on it, everyone woman I hang around regularly starts and blames me

So if she just came off her cycle a week ago and you come around and mention yours is on, hers will come back on? :comeon:

Eggs?:gucci:

:dwillhuh: WTH. Are you a bug or something?
:jbhmm: i'm now interested in what u thought a period was

"Once you get to be about 12-14 years old, your body prepares itself each month for a possible pregnancy. The lining of your uterus thickens with blood.

Pregnancy happens after you ovulate. This is when your ovaries release an egg into your fallopian tube. The egg then makes its way toward your uterus. If sperm reach the egg and fertilize it, conception occurs. The fertilized egg then usually heads into the uterus and plants itself in the uterine lining.

If this happens, you won’t get a period. But, if the egg isn’t fertilized, your uterus will shed this lining after a couple of weeks. The shedding of that lining is your period."
