Although I agree it doesn't work like that you in office you can only pass the blame around for so long before people reject it. Biden wanted the job he's got to own it. He also looks ineffective at fighting it which doesn't help tbh.

It also doesn’t help that he and administration downplayed the issue for months by calling it “transitional” even it was obvious that it wasn’t. People are going to overlook that aspect though instead of holding Biden accountable for his words.

Maybe not to you it wasn't, but for a lot of people it is. I and other posters on this site said the exact same thing, yet they kept downplaying the issue even inflation kept rising and rising. The only reason why they changed their tune was because they had no other choice but to.

Why wouldn't he have anything to do with it as decisions he helps to make or lack there of can either help or make the situation worse? Going by the logic of some posters on this site, the President doesn't have shyt to do with anything and is just there to be there

That's how it's always been and it's hilarious and disingenuous that people are trying to act like Biden is the exception to that. Trump has been out of office for nearly two years now. Let Biden defend himself and stand on his own without people always feeling the need to defend his every action or lack thereof.
