Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
You know how many local niccas albums I bought and introduced my peeps to? I learn these lyrics, i fukk them their beats, I enjoy their music and then they disappear.

The other day I saw one of these local niccas driving an A/V equipment shuttle for a commercial shoot on Calle 8.

shyt disappointed me.

lowkey: this Troy Ave situation got me feeling like that about street rappers too. Just when I was starting to mess with his music and tell my friends about dude he gets locked up forever.

Nah, I'm talking about dudes with the day jobs. A nikka like Collosus or Garcia in Miami...super local kats. They put out decent stuff that I supported and real life happens. They had to focus on their real jobs and obligations and the music never happens.

the reality is art doesnt pay bills. very few are lucky to be able to make a decent living off of it. so by not supporting your local artists, its your own damn fault they quit.

edit: nm just read spoiler :umad::dead:

dikkrider thoughts and the definition of thinking backwards.

If you really fukk with a rapper during his/her humble beginnings, that is EXACTLY the time to support the shyt out of him/her. :russ: at offering support when it's not really necessary

Basically, you are admitting having the same mentality as a gold digging stripper...You are incapable of appreciating artistic expression, unless dude can take you shopping in Paris and get in your booty while sailing on a yacht in the French Rivera...:lolbron:

How you figure?

I'm just disappointed there's no more music coming out for whatever reason.

But that happens often when you're a local act that has to have a real job, or a street dude that may get locked up .
