We won 2 games without dude. Last night was huge but we were terrible offensively. Terrible. 36% Dwight and Gasol were both inefficient last night, but they actually played d and rebounded. That was the difference. This team just isn't better without Kobe, in any scenario. As a Lakers fan, I wouldn't be mad if that was the case, but in reality it just isn't. Just like Boston not legit contenders without Rondo.

This Lakers team is not much of a contender with or without Kobe but they honestly have a better chance without him because they will try harder on defense and use their size advantage.
