I cant get into Breaking Bad, can you guys help me?

Everytime I try to sit down and watch it on Netflix I just get bored. everyone keeps tellin me i would like it and all this, but I just can get into. I dont wanna skip any episodes cuz then i might be lost.

Is there a certain point I should start at?
Or is it something Im not understanding?

Well, here's the thing.

This show is highly serialized....probably moreso than any other show I can think of. Meaning, no you can't really skip any seasons or episodes, because the story is based around the main character turning from a good man into a villain. For example, season 1 Walter:

Season 5 Walter:

You can't really get the full scope of his transformation if you skip episodes, it's a slow process. He don't wake up one morning like "I'm gonna be a gangster now".

Watch the next 2 eps. That shows a bit of his character development. After that, if it isn't for you it isn't for you.

That's definitely a hate-it-or-love-it episode. There's no in between. I thought it was....not bad, just not good and kinda pointless the first time I watched it. But after you see later seasons it fits into the story a bit better, so now I like it a lot.
