you're good to go then. only thing you need is an ftp client to ssh into the ipod.

find all the music in the file tree. gonna be folders that look like

0001111ffffakkjafkjal

but thats all your music. copy that over to the hard drive and drag all that shyt into itunes. it will be recognized just like they were mp3's and you'll be good to go.
