No one in my family smoked when I was growing up but I always liked the smell of the smoke when I'd pass by people or was in an environment with smokers. Picked up the habit at 14. I'm 25 now that's 10+ years of smoking. Sh*t doesn't help I'm light skinned so I'm already starting to look older than I am. Not to mention I have a very unhealthy eating cycle and I can't exercise without dying 2 minutes in. I really want to quit. Anybody who has quit and has tips?

Get a prescription for chantix.

Drink a gallon of water per day and run or walk five miles daily.

Cut down, cut down, cut down, learn to appreciate not smelling like an ash tray, get with a woman that doesnt smoke, get a vape thing for moments of weakness

And remember intense cravings do pass fairly quickly

How's your willpower? If it's strong just go cold turkey and endure.

If you want to ween yourself off youll need to replace one habit with another. You can get nicotine gum from anywhere. Gas stations, walmart, Walgreens, CVS.... Or you can vape and slowly but surely lower the nicotine in the vape juice.

:facepalm:You skipped out on the most important information

how’s your Hairline holding up under the constant barrage of rat poison, tar, and ammonia you’re pumping into your follicles

Think about the detrimental effects. It's hard. I quit smoking like a month ago, I used to get chest pains I really should've stopped a long time ago. Watch some documentaries on it's harmfulness until it psyches you out

My willpower is terrible. I've tried the gum and I hate it.

How bad are the withdrawals? Three weeks is kind of long.

Not that you'll be experiencing them to the same degree ffor that period of time but that's the duration for you to know you're over your addiction.

Symptoms will include increased appetite, irritability, nausea/dizziness

10 Signs That You're in Nicotine Withdrawal

edit: I'd say just go cold turkey, the other substitutes are wack and not worth making an investment in imo. Get a free app and start by whittling down how much you smoke - given your history you're likely at a pack a day. Ration down to half then a quarter-4-5 and then go a full day w/o smoking. It's not hard, it's just you have to actually want to stop smoking, if that makes sense.
And substitute an activity- instead of smoking, for a time when you want to do it, go for a walk/do pushups for seven minutes.
