I can’t respect a man who’s content with not doing OT

Unless you’re salary, go to school and/or have a side business i don’t understand how you’re OK looking at your check and not seeing some amount of OT on there
What makes it worse is nikka that use the excuse that they don’t work OT because they don’t want tax to take more, wtf kind of logic is that
Maybe it’s because I’m from the islands but I try to make sure i put in at least 20 hrs OT every pay period. If you not getting it like that then you not hustling hard enough

tbh i'm on the fence with that mentality. on one hand any dude who isn't trying to elevate his income is a bytch to me. even if you're a student i know you can squeeze 5-6 hours more per week and most jobs these days will schedule you if you're ready and willing.
on the other hand i have seen what that live to work mentality has done to places like japan and that shyt ain't pretty.
i hope you love your profession fam. i know some of my boys graduated and have to chill in court offices, labs, and all kinds of other places for like ten-fifteen hours than they should each week. i can actually see some of them aging
I do love it because I always make sure to take that time back. Because if you don't, they wont do it for you.
For example I worked 2 hours yesterday (had 2 hours of meetings) and then went home.
No one cared because I had to work the weekend.
Today i'm leaving by 2pm, ETC.
But yeah if you don't take your time back, you may end up working 60hours a week for a 40hr salary rate

You dont have to work OT as an entrepreneur because there is no limit on the earning potential
Instead of working OT, people will be working OT for YOU

Its actually kind of true breh......the general ruse is don't work no more then 8-12 hours every 2 weeks.......anything more then that you basically working for like 30 cents on the dollar........you can work like 12 hours and get like $450......or you can work like 24 and get $520......you be made as hell.......

When I worked OT I made 50cents on the dollar. Thats called hustling backwards. Working harder for uncle sam.
Take the time you would have worked OT for mr charlie and put it to a side hustle thats not taxed when you receive it
