to be fair, I think I hear his album once or twice when it dropped just off the 'dutch wu-affiliate' hype, don't remember anything about it so at least at the time I wasn't impressed

I go back to the wutangworld days/ slash kenny kza and this dude is a straight up cornball and always been. His solo keep getting pushed back since 2002 and I believe it didn't drop until 2007 or something. Dude even got into it on some arab vs jew stuff with the remedy white guy from the swarm cd. That's because he doesn't really advertise the fact that he's Dutch, listen to his albums and he's talking about how America's dropping bombs on him and his Muslim brethren

From everything I've read about Cilva he's a super Stan who got put on by RZA because of his sheer love for all things Wu. He's one of RZA's disciple's ain't no weird Solar/Guru shyt going on but he's been working on what became "once upon a time in Shaolin" for the past 6 years or so with RZA's blessing.


The issues with him are that he sometimes comes off like he's a RZA level authority of the WU. Like he calls shots and shyt. He makes arrogant statements regarding the album and needs to realize that he's a FAN living the ultimate dream of being able to eat at the table of Gods and not a God himsel.

Exactly. This is why people don't like him.

me and my crimeys was out in Ft Greene
and Meth was outside with his friends or whatever
and one of my nikkas was like "yo Tical! Why your album ass?!" I(me personally i loved his 1st album but whatever)
and Im lookin like, "yo im outa here!" lol
but he came over and was mad cool
he said alotta the original stuff he did got fukked up
he felt like "well i can start over do something better now."
but for him he felt it didnt work in his favor cause he said the original stuff shytted on what he was tryna do

it propably ain't bad or anything but I don't really like the wu-sound like that anyway, I recognize Killah Priest as one of the dopest out there but I never sat out an entire album of his, I get bored

confession. Killah priest is my favorite wu mc but the only album I was able to sit through was the double lp surprisingly
