Ferdie always came across as a pompous a$$hole to me. To his credit though he stopped working with Ali later in his career due to concerns about his health, which is more than I can say for Angelo Dundee who downplayed the effects that boxing had on Ali’s later health.

The one quote that sticks out as my favorite of Pacheco was during the Tyson-Botha fight.

“Everytime Tyson tries to throw punches, he gets smothered by this mountain of white flesh”
