I can't stop washing my chicken, brehs

I don't care the science behind it. All I know is when I put raw chicken in a bowl with water and some white vinegar or a half lemon and let it sit for a few minutes the chicken looks a little more visually appealing and that alone is what makes it work.

i know for a fact alot of cacs dont even wash their fruit and veg , i worked in a supermarket years ago on the fruit and veg section, i was dropping hella mushrooms and carrots on the dusty floor , i would think to myself these hipsters aint gonna wash this shyt, on da dead locs

If more shyt needs to be cleaned after you wash that chicken, then by all means, you do that. That's why you wash/prepare that shyt separate from the rest of the stuff and cook whatever else either before or after 'cause just straight up plopping chicken into pans and pots unwashed is just something I can't and won't get down on despite how many 'learned white folk' preach about not having to do that shyt. Also, the common majority of them don't use washrags/sponges and think that just rubbing the soap up and down is enough. PlusNope.​
