Pitching to a pitcher is skewed statistics. Smh at pitching to them with a .134 era, most of the time they bunting for an automatic out. Add that to the number 8 hitter which is the same as the 9 hitter in the AL

It's no surprise that once a NL pitcher gets traded to the AL he gets lit up

no homo at that pitcher to pitcher line.

as someone who likes defense in pretty much any sport there is, I prefer the NL by far. its fair in that everyone bats, cant hide your pitcher... and everyone plays defense, cant just bring paul bunyan in a wheelchair out there to hit 'by design'.

it also brings a strategic element with the double switch.

tradeoffs and choices are good for any sport imo. AL way is just basically replacing the problem (DH) instead of trying to deal with it (ie better hitting pitchers, not paying/playing good hitters that cant field starter salary, etc)
