Only two that doesn't say anything about a person's blackness to me.

I def agree with you on a basic surface level.

However,
we are at war so we should look at things from a Unity perspective.

So speaking on unity. we are black first - all that other shyt second, however... Nearly everyone that has advanced us have been spiritual.
Black Muslims formed and united tribes into Massive Kingdoms in ancient Africa...
Black Muslims put up the largest rebellions in the world and mid east.. killing like 70k people in zanji rebellions

Black Chuches may be a joke now, but they weren't went they were forming economic blocks in Tulsa, black wallstreet or NC, or FL or everywhere else.
We wanna hype of some people who REP the Hardest What IT MEANS to be pro black who do we think of????...
Maybe Khalid Muhammad. Maybe Thomas Sankura. Maybe Malcolm X...... well what was he? He was pro black, but he is the strongest defender (on camera) of black men and women being Muslims and/or Spiritual in General.

Or we may look at Marcus Garvey- I read his stuff. He was pushing certain Christian thoughts... but We MISS those speeches were HE SAID he rode hard with the black Muslims.
NTM all the REDBLACKGREEN flying afrocentrics who say fukk religion..... We miss black muslims who helped Educate him and raise his mind and we miss him saying that Quranic Character were Black Arabs... ...... Are we saying fukk Marcus Garvey and pan africanism?

Now there weren't too many black atheist who rode hard for us.
There were some, but not enough to warrant pushing spirituality in the bushes because spirituality has been with us throughout ALL of our great history pre slavery. and after. And What about Atheist homosexuals like Bayard Rustin who lead and pushed the Entire civil rights movement. he Oranized the march on Washinton and MLK's I have a dream speech. People like him were behind all of our passive leaders. You can look up Each one... then look up who educated and supported them. So we have to be careful.......... because just like Rustin... 100% of these dudes passify the man before they educate him... Before Rustin Got MLK to be more passive........ He first told MLK to Get RID of all the armed men outside of his home and get RID of his security teams so that white people will like him better. The passive preachers got upset and allowed the Gov to kill MLK when he started BACK messing with the radical grassroots and even talking with Malolmx and black muslims.

After it was all said and done in the 60's and 70's these men said.. homesexuality is the new measure of Civil Rights not Black rights. And these were Black Men who said and did this.

Look it up.

peace.

:mjcry:But I don't like history as a subject

I feel that.

But we don't really have the luxury at this point in time to not be interested in history, ourstory, and all the factors that created it all. hopefully your grandchildren will be less required.

peace

I can't trust a black person who has sex with a person 15 years younger than them (male or Female).

I can't trust a black man who has sex with young males. Not speaking on homosexuals in general.
I don't know any good ones, but I'm almost positive they aren't all like Don Lemon.

I can't trust a black person who actively fights for animal rights. Peta. I love animals, but lets get ours first. My lil cousin is on this--- I do not trust her, shes not family off the strength of this..

You're not pro black? Why not, if you don't mind me asking.
The thing about claiming pro black is what are the requirements?
Do I support black business? Yes. I also patronize others.
Do I want to contribute to my old neighborhoods positive transformation? Absolutely.
Would I move back ?(I'm in a mixed, primarily elderly area right now) no.
I like partaking in the things multiple cultures have to offer, services and all. Last night my fam spent $60 bucks
In the local Jamaican grill. Ox tails, rice, beef pastries, etc. however, the a few days before I was chopping it up in a Mexican eatery getting a gigantic burrito, and the week before blew some cash in a Chinese food place that knows I and my mothers first name, and has for nearly 20 years.

If I claimed pro black, there would be a ton of inconsistencies. I favor black love. I am black. However, I am not strict on it, as my family is mixed up on one side and I love them. Hell, 2 of my sisters are mixed a bit, and a whole group of cousins were biracial.

I lean far more toward pro- black progression in that we can then choose how we want to live, not a more rigid "keep it black" as that isn't my reality. Add to the fact that based on this thread, if I was pro black, I would have to disassociate myself from a number of my own people simply because they don't follow the credo. Add that I am agnostic, and a lot of my ideals are diametrically opposed to what the collective may feel is important for black unity.

exactly. everyone has a different set of requirements.

not to mention some people act like being pro black is an orthodox religion.

no thanks. i value being able to do what i want with my own life, time and money.:manny:

not gonna fault another black person for not claiming that title.

Yea, it likely isn't the most empowering or compelling perspective, but I have my hand in so many different pots and love culture as a whole. I just like seeing the black man get his, but I don't have an idea of a strict guideline he should live by in order to do it. It goes against everything I am.

I got you, and I wouldn't change anything, cause I have a full white aunt who is as near and dear to me as my fully black one. Call me a kumbaya brotha but I have seen enough love to know that the hate we highlight isn't universal, and I champion everybody getting theirs how they want, so long as they respect their fellow man and woman.

As for religion, I am a man of science and autonomy, so religion hasn't been a factor for me since I was 7 and started asking very logical questions that no one could answer.

The Deep State
thinks speaking white white supremacy is 'making excuses'

who doesn't claim to be pro black

who hates on Black women and generalizes black women.

who hates on black Muslims

who mainly has non black friends and associates

feels they do Not wish to live around black people.

tells black people that we should not be spiritual or religious.

i can add on....
I hate on black Muslims.

Suck it
