I dont trust a black person thats extremely liberal politically
I can't trust a black person who isn't really interested in learning about black history.
But I don't like history as a subjectOnly two that doesn't say anything about a person's blackness to me.
But I don't like history as a subject
The thing about claiming pro black is what are the requirements? You're not pro black? Why not, if you don't mind me asking.
The thing about claiming pro black is what are the requirements?
Do I support black business? Yes. I also patronize others.
Do I want to contribute to my old neighborhoods positive transformation? Absolutely.
Would I move back ?(I'm in a mixed, primarily elderly area right now) no.
I like partaking in the things multiple cultures have to offer, services and all. Last night my fam spent $60 bucks
In the local Jamaican grill. Ox tails, rice, beef pastries, etc. however, the a few days before I was copping it up in a Mexican eatery getting a gigantic burrito, and the week before blew some cash in a Chinese food place that knows I and my mothers first name, and has for nearly 20 years.
If I claimed pro black, the would be a ton of inconsistencies. I favor black love. I am black. However, I am not strict on it, as my family is mixed up on one side and I love them. Hell, 2 of my sisters are mixed a bit, and a whole group of cousins were biracial.
I lean far more toward pro- black progression in that we can then choose how we want to live, not a more rigid "keep it black" as that isn't my reality. Add to the fact that based on this thread, if I was pro black, I would have to disassociate myself from a number of my own people simply because they don't follow the credo. Add to the fact that I am agnostic, a lot of my ideals are diametrically opposed to what the collective may feel is important for black unity.

Two out if six of my siblings aren't full black. The thing about claiming pro black is what are the requirements?

Yea, it likely isn't the most empowering or compelling perspective, but I have my hand in so many different pots and love culture as a whole. I just like seeing the black man get his, but I don't have an idea of a strict guideline he should live by in order to do it. It goes against everything I am.

And you can be agnostic
Black is what u are, religion is just a guide
I hate on black Muslims.thinks speaking white white supremacy is 'making excuses'
who doesn't claim to be pro black
who hates on Black women and generalizes black women.
who hates on black Muslims
who mainly has non black friends and associates
feels they do Not wish to live around black people.
tells black people that we should not be spiritual or religious.
i can add on....
