Why would anyone introduce another life into this universe and KNOWINGLY put them through a troubled upbringing with their absence? OP is being extremely thoughtful for the quality of life of not only himself, but his future potential seed. You go ahead and do unnecessary life changing things you don't want to just to not remain "childish" and be miserable from your choices of following society instead of living your own personal truth if you want to, but don't demean others for not hurting anyone with their own personal decisions on how they live theirs
