Jones said he needed to preserve money to eventually pay … Parsons. I wonder if anyone has mentioned this to Jones in the past few weeks. Anyway, Jones caved to Martin’s demands.
- August 2024: “I don’t have any urgency to get it done,” Jones said while CeeDee Lamb waited for a mega-extension. The receiver replied, “lol,” in tweet form. Jones made him the second-highest-paid WR in the league.

If anyone is still on the Jerry wagon and think he wants to win after seeing that interview on WFAA, then you’re either delusional, brain dead, or both. He once again admitted where his true allegiances lie. If he can’t win his way, he will go to the next thing by building the brand being controversial or have juicy stories just to keep them relevant.
