Yeah the defense would still be awful but I still don't understand why we let Jourdan Lewis leave. He was arguably our best defensive player last year.

One man doesn't fix it, but you can't keep thinking that this franchise is going to get it right. The Cowboys let a generational player get away because they didn't want to pay him early, people seem to forget that had they done the deal sooner they would've saved money. Now they have 2 picks and you have to hope one will be the next rookie DPOY.

Jerry won't draft a player as good as Parsons for the remainder of his life.

Also, Dak did good first 2 games...but yall know his azz will revert back to bum status like he did this game with those horrible picks.

U can't have a suck azz bottom feeder defense with a QB like Dak...hell not any QB of today but it definitely won't work with Dak....3rd place Cowboys will be at best.

I think his performance in the first game was overrated. Yeah lamb and Ferguson needed to hold onto the ball but Dak is lucky he didn’t have two picks. He keyed on one guy and like clockwork didn’t go through his progressions.

Dak was good vs the giants but it’s not a shock. We also ran the ball significantly better in that game. What we saw with Dak yesterday is why we have consistently shytted on this dude for nearly a decade. This is who he is and who he has been. In the end, he will prove us right about what he is.

This is a guy who is now in his 10th year making rookie mistakes but paid like he’s an elite qb.

Yeah and both those passes to CD were tight coverages as well. The giants also had a chance to have a couple picks off him. He was decent as best vs the eagles, good vs the giants, and his usual poor self vs the bears. This is what he is. He cannot be trusted to succeed to win games consecutively in January.
