Those statements alone just negated everything else you stated.

How so? :dwillhuh:

I didn't say he joined a superteam or anything. Just pointing out that if you analyze the games, advanced stats and do the 'eye test', Jrue and Middleton are very underrated as far as getting credit for their impact compared to other 2nd and 3rd best players.

It's because they don't have star power.

Congrats to breh but Winning title when every team was injured he should just enjoy the moment
Lakers in '87: Won the title when the opposing team's two best players had severe foot and back injuries.

Lakers in '88: Won a title when the opposing team's best player suffered an ankle injury in the Finals and still needed a historically bad call in their favor to clinch the title.

Lakers in '00: Won a title when the defending NBA champions were missing their best player for the entire Playoffs and couldn't defend their title.

Lakers '02: Won a title when a confirmed crooked referee literally rigged games in their favor.

Lakers in '09: Won a title when the defending NBA champions were missing their best player for the entire Playoffs and couldn't defend their title.

This is an amazing quote, and the correct thing to say when your team has had a lot of success and you’re sitting at the table with your Finals win and Finals MVP. Otherwise, it’s just soothing words for fans until you have some eye-opening losses and make your trade request. Dame is on the clock, and one more series loss and Donovan Mitchell will be as well.

Im already seeing the narratives getting created and promoted with no context or nuance and its nasty. Yall really gonna compare Kyrie ankle or AD groin or Kawhi acl to Giannis knee? He missed one game availability is key. He won no doubt but some yall getting crazy with the bulkshyt

Don't forget Murray in Denver.

El DeBarge was also busting them before he got hurt.

It's 3 all stars on this team. It's not a super team tho? We pick n choose when that label sticks.

You can’t tell me that anybody at the beginning of the season would label them as a super team. They’re not. It was less than two weeks ago that people had Middleton in trade scenarios with CJ McCollum, Giannis has zero bag and referred to as Big Westbrook, and all those picks were “too much” for Jrue Holiday. They simply ended up being a well constructed team.

Bucks dealt with injuries

divencenzo a starter was out
Giannis wasn’t 100 percent

That’s why you have depth
Yeahh, NBA has couple years each decade where the championship is up for grabs and it's when depth comes in handy. If your team has like 3 stars (or even two top 10 guys) and they stay healthy, issa wrap most of the time.

Funny, most of you are focused on Lebron when I think his comment was directed more at KD.........KD is the one who allegedly took a shot at Giannis.
KD and Harden both been shytting on Giannis the last couple of years
KD got extra mad(not just usual twitter clapback mad) when someone exposed the shyt he said about Giannis in private
Most of the focus is on lames like CJ Mccollum tweeting slander but most of the NBA bag twitter boys been hating on Giannis and his game

Talk dat shyt Giannis. They said he shouldn't take the supermax and instead go ring chase with dudes he don't even fukk wit. He did the the damn thang, won a ring, and got the supermax. He blew a lot of holes in these talking heads theories :salute:
Sure did. These fools be wanting players to dip after 1 bad season or one lost playoff series or something. It takes years sometimes and Giannis knew that. His championship win in Milwaukee Wisconsin is going to be goat level and he’s cemented himself in history already. He ain’t even 30 yet!:wow: The talk is going to be interesting now because of this run. Also it’s funny that people are talking about injuries. Well other teams had chances to get to the chip too but didn’t. Milwaukee/Giannis just wanted it more.

Were the Heatles a super team? When they were on the brink of losing to the Celtics Bosh was in trade talks. That happens. I just think the super talk is for teams we dislike. It's disingenuous. The warriors won 73 games but lost(as reigning champs) but wasn't a super team until KD got there. They already had multiple all stars, first unanimous MVP, but wasn't a super team. This whole conversation is silly and only exists to push media narratives. Nba was founded on "super teams" aka dynastic teams and they will always exist. If the Bucks run it back do they then become super?

Giannis played great no doubt. Congrats on the chip.

But we all know they ain't winning if Kyrie and Harden didn't get hurt. :dead: if this was KD or Bron all we would have heard on here is "asterisk this asterisk that".

Think if it this way KD literally almost beat the champs dolo. If his foot is behind the line, they literally don't win and y'all narrative changes completely. Giannis would have been a choker in y'all eyes :mjlol:

Whole playoffs filled with injuries :mjlol:but he did it the hard way. Only way they repeat is if more injuries happen next year.
