He gets to talk his shyt but he has a talented duo with him man. Khris turns into KD in Milwaukee and Jrue is the best defensive guard in the league. Kudos on not running but that’s a damn good team.

big difference between that and 3 top 10 players tryna team up like Voltron :mjlol:

Everyone knows I’m a KD fan and I think KD is the best in the league right now but I have to salute a true competitor. I’m so happy for this dude. Hopefully other stars are motivated by seeing what he accomplished. Running from the grind, hiding behind fan made/ media made narratives, team hopping ain’t it. That’s not what makes you a real legend IMO. This shyt hits different. Anyone saying otherwise is lying.

I put his chip far above the other two cuz as you mentioned he pretty much faced an evenly matched healthy suns teams in the finals which made for a hard-fought competitive series

I feel it's a toss-up between Kawhi and Giannis.

Giannis Finals >>> any one series Kawhi had, however Kawhi beat Embiid/Butler/Tobias/Simmons... and then beat MVP Giannis/Middleton/Brogdon/Bledsoe, and was impressive in both.

Basically Kawhi's ECSF & ECFs >>> Giannis's ECSF & ECFs

But Giannis's Finals, specifically, is all-time.

Umm, Giannis had a serious looking knee injury right before the Finals. Everyone had injuries
You just said “looking.” They had actual injuries that stopped guys from playing. But I don’t even care about that. There are people that believe that if not KG being hurt the Lakers don’t win in 09. It’s part of the game. At the end of the day, neither LeBron or KD were ever winning in those cities. When the Bucks traded Bledsoe they upgraded to Jrue. When the Thunder traded Harden they downgraded to Kevin Martin or whatever.

Giannis and them built this but the front office did it’s damn job. Let’s not leave that out and slight guys who leave because the front office fails. Is Kevin Garnett lesser because he went to the Celtics after Minnesota never got him a contender? And he only had a 3 year window and got injured in one of those years. There’s no guarantees of health as you see with the Nets and Clippers. It’s about giving yourself a chance to be competitive. Giannis is a blessed story where it all comes together. More often than not, it doesn’t because GMs are awful.

W a superteam
The Cavs weren’t that much better than this Bucks team and they had to face a 73-9 team, not CP3 and youngins.

Kyrie and Love were both 3X all-stars in 2016 while the Bucks have a former all-star and 3X first team all-defense in Jrue, a 2X all-star in Middleton, and a former all-star and all defensive second team in Brook.

It does. That’s why I’m surprised they signed off on Harden to Brooklyn. I thought the plan was to prove a point.
