my takeaways so far for the rest of the offense have been this:
1. Our run game actually hasnt missed a beat, its our WRs not getting next level blocks that havent sprung bigger gains (if you don't believe this watch some of peyton barbers big runs and pay close attention to Louis and Williams downfield, Barber routinely out ran them)
2. Our WRs can make plays in space, if we can start doing more quick hitters youll see JJ get more confident down the field
3. Our OLine has actually been awesome in pass protection, so its not that the deep throws have been hurried but rather forced due to poor decisions by JJ
4. We have yet to truly take advantage of one of the biggest focal points of Malzahn's scheme: misdirection
so all in all, it goes back to JJ and Rhett/Gus to help him gain confidence. JJ still throws a pretty ball and I firmly believe his issue is purely confidence after laying an egg in the first game
