Magic will probably live a long ass time. He's always smiling and in a good mood, he's also health concious and works out, even though he eats a lot. The medication they have now for that disease allows regular non rich people to live as long as a normal person. Magic gonna be around a while.

Anti-retrovirals cost a lot of money. People go broke fighting that virus. Don't believe the hype that insurance companies in America are more than willing to pay for insureds to fight that good fight. 
HIV+ folk are not giving blood. People who traveled abroad recently to high risk countries canNOT donate blood in the USA. Homosexual men cannot donate blood in the USA.
