I didnt kbow people still did this. Maybe I just got older but I rarely see this in DC anymore. I remember there were so many shoes on O street the powerline broke 5th and O and 7th and O (KDP) were beefing and they were litterally across the street.

Only real nikkaz know what that means. Some of my white coworkers that I was in a fantasy league were like “Did you guys see Marshawns post? What does that mean?”

I always thought it was a NY thing. Growing up someone got killed they threw their sneakers on either power lines or light poles

Now I know it's different meanings in other places

people be looking too deep into the shyt. I see a pair of shoes i take it with a grain of salt...ive tossed so many pairs of shoes on power lines just because i saw it on tv (every time i saw it on tv there was no explanation behind it). this the first im hearing the remembering the dead.

One thing i heard that i thought was stupid af was that the shoes was representation of a drug dealer living on the block or area....WHY THE FUCCCK WOULD YOU WANT TO PING YOUR KICKSTAND LOCATION.
