8 think it wuz becuz of beef Stack had with Alis people Vic Damone over who started "squad up"...and I think ali said it wuz over a female so I'm not sure the exact reason maybe a little of both:manny:

"Don't believe me then ask dude that got his azz snuffed(VIC!)"-FULLY LOADED GLOCK FREESTYLE

Ali shoulda signed to Desert storm,he kinda fuked his career off....his ego wouldn't let him be the nikka behind Fab but now he in a worst position then just about everybody who wuz on that roster, and same position I guess as Paul Cain:heh:.....I remember Paul Cain dissin that nikka pretty tuff actully

"U talkin all that war shyt but that ain't how ya soldiers built.
U idolize a nikka hova killed"

Then fab threw a few lines his way

"And if u check the stats by me.
I still talk shyt in my rhymes and knock em out like that cat Ali(Ali)"

With clue laughin in the back as Fab repeats Ali by adlib, double entendre:ohlawd:

Ali mighta been a good fit on DS

Fab also had that line over that ROC beat saying some shyt like "shorty I got guns in my closet that's longer than you" I think that was towards Ali too. I think that was on the professional tape.

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Vegas got bars, son is nice and can make songs. I don't see how he was biting anybody, IMO he had his own sound. I don't see the comparisons.

I still listen to Vegas, I feel bad for him though.

Son when he was young he was straight up bitin Nas...listen to tracks like The Specialist..etc..he used to be around all them cats..50..etc when he was like 16...then he went to Jay...but dude was known as one of the biggest Nas biters when he was young..either way..son was nice..and he fukked off his career...too bad too..I think he coulda went somewhere cause he was next up at one point...

I think people just compared him to nas based on both their ages and talent level when they came into the game. I can definitely see an influence but I can't call Ali an outright biter...its usually dudes with no talent that bite... Ali had loads of talent.

The problem with Ali is that I think he took those comparisons too seriously and started feeling himself way too much. Even when he was grinding and putting out mixtapes he was calling himself the Prince of New York soon to be king and all this other shyt...nobody was trying to hear all that. Ali Vegas is a classic case of wasted potential. If he would have came out in this new era he would have had a better shot.

Is it true he ain't wanna sign to Clue cuz he didn't want to wait for Fab to drop first bcuz he thought he should be top priority?I don't know what Ali Vegas buzz was like back when Fab wuz supposed to drop but its hard to imagine it wuz bigger than Fabs, maybe just cuz he never went on to do shyt afterward....I know by the time his diss dropped to rest of the world he wuz not in fabolous league:childplease:

I always think about the HOT97 freestyle with 50 Cent and him thinking 'Damn this Ali Vegas guy is going to blow up hes dope' and then him having a nothing career while 50 goes to blow up.

why ali vegas diss stack?

cuz of the dj clue beef?

It stemmed from the Stack and Vic Damone beef. Basically Vic Damone had a song with Petey Pablo called "Squad Up". Stack had his deal with Clue so Shatek gave him the beat.

That started the Vic/Stack beef. They went back and forth and then Veg said, "I told Vic don't go to War unless he got his money right. He said look Veg all my Bundles is Stacked"

Stack flipped.

Rest is history.

sounds like pac to me

At least pac had better intentions for his people at large and actually had real reasons to dislike the people he disliked. Stack Bundles went from vogueing to making death threats to invisible strangers on records and never said anything positive for the black community. :aicmon:
