This is coming from an OG Ziggler fan before it became cool to like him. I'm talking pre Vickie era here. Ziggler was never consistently over or a great talker. He didn't get Orton ice but let's not delude ourselves into thinking he was some massively over heel getting Bryan like reactions. Outside of smark cities whether or not Ziggler would draw heat was a toss up. But we had some on here who thought he wasn't over AT ALL which definitely wasn't true. He's a decent mic worker and pretty good wrestler but his attitude comes off as if he is at the Bryan/Punk/Cena level. Nah. That concussion really fukked him up because he was right on the cusp of getting over big but shyt happens. He sank his own battleship by getting frustrated and voicing it publicly.

And don't compare him to Ryder. Ziggler never "got over on his own." He had a pretty steady push and was finally catching on. Ryder's whole movement was totally organic.
