It really boils down to self esteem issues. But rather then work on self, get rejected and get over in a week or so, they self depreciate, and lock themselves into violent echo chambers. Over time they transform from "I don't know how to talk to women" to "I hate women" to "Women should stay in their place and these alpha males are getting all the p*ssy"... Its a vicious cycle. Definitely a mental health issue.
