This is a random song with no link.

Big has the most direct Pac diss with Long Kiss. Everything else by everyone else was something where a couple lines was dedicated to Pac or a double entendre like "black perelli, rollin on machiavelli".

Long Kiss was a multi-layered diss record. He implies who he's talking about with the "I ain't mad at cha" line on verse 1, has a more general verse 2 where you could still have doubt then verse 3 and especially the outro really seal the deal.

"Slugs hit your chest, tap your spine, flatline
Heard through the grapevine, you got fukked four times
Damn that three to nine, fukked you up for real though
Slang steel slow, as for remorse, we feel no"

What was more relentless about this record was there are a couple of lines that reveal that it was written after Pac's death. (Big's car crash)

Pacs interview with vibe in 1995 said thug life was dead. Then MOBB came out with that song.

I know about all that. It's a reach to the point of absurdity though to hear that and somehow make the connection that they were dissing him. I always took him saying that as him talking about his group anyway, but even if he just meant it in a generic way, he didn't coin the concept of thuggery in hip-hop. The shyt was just stupid to me and a reason to look for drama where there wasn't any. :yeshrug:

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Play the songs where someone took a shot at him first. I'll wait.
Son Jay Z n them dissed Pac in his Dead Presidents video. Biggie n them put out Who Shot Ya knowing the climate. shyt even Keith Murray says till this day he feels like Who Shot Ya was bout Pac. And that nikka was cool wit Biggie. LL with his I Shot Ya shyt. His issue with Tribe stemmed from a stage misunderstanding. Chino XL dissed Pac first and had a line saying he got raped in jail. Puffy n them nikkas was dissing Pac on mixtapes n all that. Pac dropped Hit Em Up because of Biggie getting on the radio, falsely thinking Pac was at the DPG video shoot and getting they trailer shot up. Wendy Williams was spreading rumors about Pac getting raped. He dissed Nas because he thought Nas was dissing him but that was a misunderstanding that got cleared up. Fugees had affiliation with Haitian Jack and Jimmy Henchman(whom both set Pac up for different things). And he even squashed that with them. He dissed Mobb Deep cause of their involvement with the LA LA track plus Prodigy was on I Shot Ya. There was also ALOT of teaming up and sneak dissing from rappers on my side behind the scenes. And most misunderstanding. Pac handled like a man and squashed before he died.

All heresay and speculation aside from the Chino XL line, which he said wasn't a dis. Still waiting for songs where anyone dissed Pac FIRST, UNPROVOKED.

:what: nikka none of this was hearsay. I literally heard it with my own ears. And these are true events that happened. What u mean hearsay? U saying this Chino XL line “By this industry, I’m trying to not get fukked like 2Pac in jail.” Ain’t a diss? Da fukk?

This is another line I always thought was misinterpreted, ever since the first time I heard it. And I only bought Chino's cassette for this specific song cuz Ras tore it to shreds :whew:.

But anyway, I always took that line as Chino meaning Pac was in jail trying not to get fukked (like anybody in jail would be trying not to do obviously), not that he was saying, "Haha, Pac got his ass took in prison". Don't get me wrong, it was disrespectful either way and that was Chino's whole style/gimmick of name dropping with provocative scenarios. So Pac was within reason to take issue with it. But I think the latter interpretation is waaaay worse than the former.

Wendy Day tried to protect him, you just bringing up Pacs life lol.

The fukk does Haitian Jack having under pressure managing/extorting Fugees have to with anything? How does correlate to a shot at Pac first?

Poster was right and still is right.
