Domestic violence is funny now? Man usually has the option of walking away, and removing the woman from his life and circle.

When it gets to the point where a woman is trying to emasculate you, time to cut your losses.

In reality cutting your losses could mean losing your children and/or being financially crippled for the rest of your life. You don't hit a woman but it's not as simple as just walk away for many men. Let alone an older man for whom starting over is very difficult.
