There's a few reasons why I jumped from 360 to ps4. I have no interest in the one right now

Movie ticket prices/DVD's and Blu-Ray prices/piracy warrant being able to go out and watch various movies spanning genres. Spending $900 this early just on consoles(not including online subscriptions and games/accessories) so you don't miss out on games that make up like 15% of the entire console gaming library isn't smart. Better to figure out what exclusives you'll want to play now and wait for price drops before dipping into the other.
