my heyday was high school, chilling on the block with nikkas bussing down neighborhood thots. The further I've gone the more isolated I've become. I have nothing in common with people in these environments I'm in and I have nothing in common with hood nikkas anymore.

nobody ever talks about the crushing isolation of hood nikkas who make it out the hood. Everyone you're around seems corny, but you have too much to lose to kick it where you're comfortable. And nikkas you hung with when yall all had nothing will line you up.

....as we become older, we become more defined....this means our ability to connect with others becomes less universal....it's natural breh....just a phase of life....you'll establish future connections based on new, more stringent, criteria....give it time....
