I don't buy it. The hotel refused to release the video even after a court order (multiple I think), after the hotel tried to get some other judge to block the release of the video, and after a whole ass federal judge got heated with them over them trying to ignore the order. That and multiple people who saw the encounter said nothing happened.

I honestly don't see how it blowing up could have been prevented.
Based on what? Everyone else says he was normal and professional. The video leading up to this doesn't show him drunk either. The only people claiming anything wrong refuse to back up their claims with evidence, despite having evidence.

Twitter has a video that shows the first white guy in the video, further corroborating his story. Irvin seemed normal and sober in that video.
Irvin is the one suing the Hotel and has advocated for the release of the video. I don’t think he’s lying and those allegations sound wayyyyyy too wild for him to be publicly proclaiming his innocence as vigorously as he is if they were even remotely true
