Ever since I was a kid I've found the combination odd plus caramel seeps through your teeth causing problems with the enamel which can lead to cavities.

I like snickers and milky way, stuff like that, I even fuxed with those old school caramel apple suckers back in the day, but yeah biting into an actual caramel apple feels like you're gonna pull your teeth out. It's like eating sugary glue.
