It's important because there is a legit effort to shut him down. They went after some film he produced and got it removed from some festival, that's probably the only legit thing that's happened to him

Meanwhile his "comedy" has regressed to the point he keeps repeating the same weird shyt about trans people just to PROVE that he can...and each time he's proven right. Nothing substantial has happened to him, he's doing big ass venues on tour that are sold out...venues aren't shutting him down outside of that (small) venue.

My point is, all this "they're trying to cancel me" shyt is just marketing and he's proven it doesn't work. He himself said that if this is what being cancelled feels like, it's great.
