Gen z is an entire generation raised on the internet. Half of them are right wing extremists one bad week away from grabbing a gun and blowing people down. The other half are depressed doomers who don’t see a future and have given up on having a career or family

The economy only works for the wealthy who can put their money in stocks and other assess while the rest of us have stagnant or no wages as jobs are cut due to AI and outsourcing to developing countries.

The divisions in this country get deeper by the day and everyone lives in their own bubbles online while we have issues that can only be solved by real communal efforts. Most of us know people online we never met better than we know our neighbors.

I see the economy getting worse leading to more violence and division i really don’t know where this is going but it will not be pretty.

Politically speaking, people think Jan 6 was a day that ended but we are still living in the fallout of that day (and the lead up to it). Regardless of the certification, we are still in the constitutional crisis that day sparked that I don't think America will ever recover from.

Most government collapses/takeovers/coups that happened in other countries took years to decades of cancerous metastasizing of social unrest, egregious judicial rulings, and slow erosion of trust and rights before the visible sign of the death took place. It doesnt happen overnight or on one day. We're still in the beginning of the fallout that is laying the groundwork for what is to come.

Case in point, the fake electors thst tried to overturn the results in Michigan just got their cases tossed.
