I don't see how call centers don't have high suicide rates

Man I feel sorry for yall that have had bad experiences in call centers. I'm lucky the company I work for actually gives a fukk. I mean it's not my end goal in life but the money I'm making combined with how chill the environment is makes me hesitant to go somewhere else.

I couldn’t do it. I was basically at the point where I wanted them to fire me but they wouldn’t. It got so bad even with all the foolishness I was doing my conscience got to me and I just had to quit
Same. The job itself is easy, obviously, but the micromanagement makes it much more stressful. I remember working collections for a car loan company years back, and being told to say things in a specific way to try and get the customer(s) to pay through us instead of their preferred way. If we didn’t, we would get reprimanded and possibly written-up. We’d leave voicemails all day, too, when not on an active call, so you’re literally talking for 8 hours. I hated it.

Me neither. Inhumane shyt, for shyt pay. I left after 3 days. Literally drove to the facility in the morning, and couldn't get out of the car. :russ: I've had some shytty jobs, but that was next level. I would start robbing banks before working at a call center again.

:lolbron:
This happened to me several times. Ended using all my pto and sick leave by February before I just quit. I was working at a call center for a bank, the only pluses was the cafeteria and the women
