I think football as we know it will disappear, but probably not in our lifetime.
I don't think football will "go away" as a result of CTE/concussions, etc

If boxing is still around, it's hard to think that football will fade to black.
The push to have boxing banned has been around for far longer than the argument against football.
But if you have a son, how do you let him play football given all we know (and are learning) about the risks?
I wouldn't let my kids play it.

a lot of parents dont give a fukk about the safety of their kids so the NFL and college football will continue to flourish
there will always be players who want money and want to play football but in twenty years they will be jim mcmahoning it and writing stories I don't care to read because they knew the risk

Football will be around but there will be a change to it somehow someway.Injuries and concussions is the problem.. PeeWee football might become extinct but the NFL isn't going anywhere.This may sound crazy to some but I can see Professional Flag Football league one day,could possibly be an Olympic sport too never know.Why play it dangerously when you be safe.
