Bears will attack if theyre desperate and can kill moose but usually they go for the calfs and cows.

A male moose can still be killed but the bear will die later from its injuries.

Not only are they massive, in heavy snow, they move silently. My great grandfather used to hunt small game. He said he was always on the look out for moose. They don't make themselves known like other animals unless animals which is a problem since they don't like you getting too close. It's easy to invade their space if you aren't paying attention.

Look at how deep this snow is. Those people were fukked if that moose was on time
