He's getting better bruh. I believe with the shyt he been talking he knew he had to step it up. His track Current Events with Premo was a vast improvement.

I checked it out and its cool, but what you mean by vast improvement:patrice:...you talking from his early days or just recently?I think dude just missed his time,he could've been dope when he was SUPPOSED to be dope, but he just sound as dated as you can sound in damn near every regard and he doesn't have one of those timeless flows like a Slick Rick imo:manny:...if you didn't think Papoose was great coming up you probably wont be that amazed hearing him now,he sound like a watered down version of greats that we saw in the 90's who got phased out and met they expiration date....even the cure sounds dated, like it mighta been dope in the early 90's...but it just sounds like a school paid a rapper to write a song to explain what cancer and aids is to 9 yr olds:heh:...different from the norm but not creative at all to me,we all know what aids and cancer is....running down a list of all the symptoms and side effects and sayin "Im cancer:troll:" at the end aint creative at all...dude just missed his generation about two generations ago I think, the excess hate is just coli jokes dudes cant pass up on making no matter how much its been run into the ground. But he good for a look every now and then, but is he unhateable:patrice:? If he was humble I would say yes, since he not he gon get what he gets.

If Kendrick , Drake, or Jay would have made even something as clever as he did on 5 Fingers of Death

The dikkriding would have been endless.

Word, it would be saying he's the messiah lol. That's what I don't like, the dikkriding.

he can't ride a beat, still thinks re-using multi-syllabic patterns that aren't new or original means he's a 'better lyricist'

he also forces more corny punchlines than Lil Wayne :mjsmuglaugh:

From his early days because I thought Pap was a hit and miss type of cat at first but he's getting better with his song writing and content. I respect your outlook because at least you critical about how you can't feel his music verses these dudes hopping on the bandwagon

Pap needs to take a music theory class or start working with professional song writers. He's got great concepts and aggressive content. Unfortunately he's lacking in the ability to move the crowd.

it's cool. He kept up the same rhyme pattern a few syllables deep like the whole time which was impressive how long he did it for :ehh:

still the rhymin every word shyt can come across a little stiff. he wasn't even close to off beat, almost too much on beat if that makes sense

don't get me wrong he ain't wack, and I actually love multi spitting rappers, like Big Pun is in my top 5-10, Eminem too, but something about him is forced a lot.

like he added a word that he wouldn't use normally to extend a rhyme pattern a lot and it won't make perfect sense.

this particular verse was def impressive though

His struggle delivery.

His well-documented abundance of corny ass punchlines like "Man I got Brooklyn in my balls, so you can see Bedstuy if you looking in my draws," and "Every time I see you you get cornier like a E-Y-E."

And he kinda just represents a lot of what people find annoying and off-putting about older, outdated NY rappers...faux "lyricism" that is far more complex in presentation than content, a sense of undeserved arrogance just because he's from NY, smartdumb nikka conspiratorial "droppin' knowledge" and 5%er jargon, being mad and yelling all the time and scowling in an oversized Yankees cap, etc.
