I think you should take it again. A 72 guarantees you all the jobs except applied geophysicist. No one even knows what that job is...

ETA: didn't finish reading it was a practice. I got a 92 on the practice. Didn't get that on the real one :pachaha:

A 53 is low:heh:?

My recruiter told me that that's upper percentile:heh:

I should be able to drop a 60 or better when I take the real thing next week.

Did they change the scores? I got a 110 and my recruiter was ready to give me the world.

for which branch? Thats a low score for the Air force . Most likely end up as a cook or giving out towels at the gym.

105 is :duck:

And intelligence is basically IS, IT, CT, and some more shyt I don't care to remember.

IS are usually fakkits though... CT's too unless it's CTM's and CTN's. Some CTI's are cool but them linguist fakkits are:camby:

IT's are literally the hood nikkas of the intelligence community. We was wild af but not wild enough to lose our clearances:ufdup:

It could be ducktales...that was over a decade ago :manny:

:whoa:

but don't settle with that score breh. 70 or better.
I stress to you to work and get exactly the precise best career trampoline possible from your initial entry into any service branch.

Career fields in this order:

Highly Technical (Requires clearance)
Technical Equipment repair (Requires Clearance)
Medical Equipment repair
Medical
Communications operator
Intelligence (Requires Clearance)

Spec Ops (Requires nutts)(Grants fast promotion and $$$)

@Dray5K Ok man, you still wanna go in? Well listen to this breh here, your ass should be making 70 or better. I don't know much about the navy, almost went navy but glad I didn't. I'm telling you though, as a black man this shyt ain't glorious.

Unless you are fine with c00ning it up, likely shyt won't be nice. Hopefully though you can move through the bullshyt and focus on education, saving and building credit. I've been the master at that, 50k strong and credit at 760+. Please don't settle for a job, do not settle. The recruiters will want to push hard to get you signed and out the door, but don't settle. Think about what you want to do, make the good ASVAB score so you have a choice and then join.

Recruiters talk to crackheads and single parents with four kids to make ends meet. That's the 'upper percentile' of the crowd you're working with depending on graduating seniors, people leaving college, and everything else.

Don't sip your own koolaid here breh. You're thinking on making a life-altering decision. Don't settle because someone tells you that you're good.

That 53 should be keeping you up at night.... and after you take the real thing, you still need to hit up every other recruiting office in the county to make sure the shyt you've been sold is authentic.

You can pop bottles later breh. Some dudes in here really trying to look out here...

Edit: Also like someone else said, percentile/asvab IS NOT your GT score.

Seriously, if you not making 70+, or even more 80+ (got 87 on the real test) then you need to study more.

Not bad young man

What jobs did they offer? Tell me and I will definitely tell you the jobs to pick...

In fact, go AIRCREW... fukk the actual navy side. You will definitely thank me later
Do not, I repeat do not go air crew. You will be working long hours on a flight deck in 100 degree plus weather. You will lose hearing due to loud planes, you will probably get some type of cancer because of the massive amounts of fumes you will inhale. Feel free to ask me questions. I know about Navy life.

Also all this talk of you have to score a 70 or better is garabage. On the real I scored a 53 also, and got a better job than most oh and quick advancements. People I talked to in my division scored way higher than me, jobs depend your line scores.
