African Americans are "the worst race in the world" because we experience the same effects of poverty as others do globally?

It was stupid. You don't have to hate the guy or anything but you have to admit what he said was completely ignorant.

They way he phrased it, it definitely was but I understand the point he was trying to make. Let's look at it from his perspective; Louisiana has the worlds largest prison population per capita, 1/86 adults are in jail while 1/13 black adults have been or are currently in jail. He sees the cycle of poverty and criminality and is disgusted by the fact that black people still fall for it. Now was/is he ignorant to the system that continues the cycle? most definitely but he is right in the fact that in the African American community in Louisiana there's little camaraderie or cooperation in getting themselves out of the situation they are in.

In regards to the war on drugs, well I don't know what your stance is but if you haven't noticed there's a pattern of ways they have used to destroy the black community, so CIA aiding drug imports is the white man doing his job. Just like COINTELPRO, FHA, Seperate but equal or any other government program that hindered black people from progressing. The white man implemented those obstacles then and continue to do so today so yea, history tells us that white people disregard the wellbeing of black people so he IS just doing his job when he tries to destroy our community.
