I remember a brehette on here kind of criticizing the members of the site because she wondered why everybody was hiding behind anonymous accounts. She thought more members would have their actual photo as their profile pictures and such kind of like Black Planet I guess. There is a sense of community here where the most of us can be somewhat our genuine selves but we still be side eyeing one another

Because ain't a damn person in this world gonna sign you a paycheck for "integrity."
People lie on resumés all the time, get jobs, and keep their heads down and mouths shut to not bring attention to their dishonety. And as long as they're competent at what they were hired for, they have an avenue to get ahead in their industry.
Those people are also putting food on the table for them and their loved ones.
I ain't saying I agree with it, but the world ain't gonna move with you, so you better move with it.

i'm not really taking about jobs. there's a difference between being professional and "pc" which i don't expect (although some still manage to do so while online )..... there's a difference between not doing that versus taking every opportunity you can to shame your parents which is what a lot of people tend to do. i'm not speaking on OP in particular cuz he's been posting for a while and still hasn't managed to make my block list so it's more generally speaking than about him lol
it's just kinda weird to me that he feel he live his best life around a bunch of haters and trolls, i don't love that for him

I misunderstood what you were saying until I read that part. Respect where you’re coming from. If this is the only place you can feel free to be yourself including friends and family then that’s a problem. I was looking at the statement more social media wise.
