Flawed line of thinking IMO.

If you coach or run an NFL team you know you can go 10 years and never have an even decent QB.

As fans we can hate Goff but he was a throw away from winning a SB. Rams aren’t looking for a new QB at the moment.

You take the QB and coach him up.

It’s not all about the qb so much as the place he lands, Cincinnati is notoriously cheap and inefficiently ran, it’s been said that they mostly scout Midwest kids as to not spend money on travel to check kids out, if joe doesn’t get a decent coach and coordinators he will fail no matter how good he is, this is all about coaching to get the most out of what he does best
